FreeStyle Football 2 is not a FIFA sim, not a Roblox experience, and not a free-to-play live-service clone of the original. Matches are 5v5 online with one human per outfield character and two AI goalkeepers. There are no yellow or red cards, and tackles do not foul. Offside exists: you cannot receive in an offside position, but play does not always stop. Line-outs, offsides, and goals pause the match. Halves ran about four minutes in tests. Full cross-play is a launch promise and the main reason Prime OBT exists. Easy Anti-Cheat runs on PC. Keyboard and mouse work on Steam, but every creator video worth copying still assumes a controller.

Use this hub as a checklist, not as a novel. Read Getting Started before you queue. Finish the tutorial even if you played the original. Learn how to score and how to defend before you burn Freestyle Moves on cooldown. Check which map you are loading. If you want a consistent five, join the official Discord rather than hoping solo queue teaches shape.
