FreeStyle Football 2 KARDI Soundtrack

The KARDI soundtrack is the first named music drop JOYCITY attached to FreeStyle Football 2’s Prime Open Beta Test. On 26–27 August 2026 the publisher said the four-piece co-ed band KARDI wrote lyrics, composed, and performed the main theme plus instrumental cues that will play across major in-game screens. This page is the listen list. It is not a Spotify album, not a retail OST SKU, and not a promise that the June 2026 demo already carried these tracks.

The retail game is still upcoming. Prime OBT runs 4–8 September 2026 on Steam, Xbox PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. If you only wanted hours and platforms, stay on the Prime OBT page. Who KARDI is, and what JOYCITY actually commissioned

Public notes describe KARDI as a four-member co-ed band that includes a geomungo player. The geomungo is a traditional Korean zither; that detail is why the collaboration is not just a rock bumper over a trailer. JOYCITY’s announcement (reported 26 August 2026, Korean original around 27 August) said the band participated directly in writing, composing, and performing the main theme and instrumental tracks. The music is scheduled to appear across major content and gameplay screens, not only in a YouTube bumper.

Do not invent extra album tracks. Three official videos sit on the Korean FreeStyle Football 2 channel as of this write-up:

• BFF (Main Theme) — vocal, about 3:44. This is the anthem. The embed on this page is that video.
• Fennec Fox — instrumental, about 2:09. A groove cue. The title is not a secret character unlock.
• Wolf Park — instrumental, about 2:34. The named piece Agents should listen for in match flow; Prime OBT coverage keeps repeating this title.

Those three uploads are real. This wiki embeds one video per page, so BFF sits here and the sibling tracks stay on the official channel. Do not paste a lyric-video re-upload into a guide. Bookmark official YouTube from the Links Hub rather than a random “FSF2 OST” playlist.

When you actually hear it

JOYCITY said the soundtrack debuts in-game during Prime OBT, not during the June demo. The demo already had its own mix. Treat a World Fiesta trailer as marketing audio. Treat a PAX floor television as a television. The fair listen is a logged-in OBT client after the UTC window opens on 4 September 2026 at 11:00 (PDT 4 Sep 04:00 through 7 Sep 18:00; CEST 4 Sep 13:00 through 8 Sep 03:00).

Pre-download opened 2 September 2026. Finishing that download does not unlock a music player. There is no separate OST app. Cues sit on menus, character intros, and match screens. If your client is a leftover Next Fest build, delete it and re-download as JOYCITY recommended for a cleaner connection. Hardware notes live on system requirements.

A PAX West booth may or may not play the same mix in rented headphones. Do not write a soundtrack review from a jumbotron. The booth is an in-person 5v5 slice on show hardware, documented on PAX West. Producer comments framed OBT as the final cross-play check and PAX as the North American awareness beat. Neither event is the paid launch.

What the tracks are not

They are not a Deluxe edition extra you buy at a booth. Edition names — Basic, Premium, Deluxe, Limited Club, Game Pass Day One — stay on Editions. They are not Twitch Drops. Wolf Park is not a new map. Hamburg is the city pitch called out with Lena Wolf in Butter’s Prime OBT update delivery. Walk that court on Maps and Pitches. Fennec Fox is not a secret Agent. The public roster still lives on the Players Hub, with QRI as the dancer identity and the CBT 7 split across forwards, midfielders, and defenders.

How to listen without wrecking a match

Turn the music up in a menu. Turn it down when you are learning passing lanes. Prime OBT is the last public cross-play check before a premium launch, not a listening party. Official YouTube — the Korean channel for the three KARDI uploads, the English channel for Butter’s update delivery — is the place to preview before you queue. Story flavor still belongs on Story Mode, a 10–20 hour campaign target for launch, not an OBT album. Ranked and club nights still belong on Ranked and Clubs. Music is atmosphere for those pages. It does not replace them.

Lena, Hamburg, and KARDI arrived in the same publicity week. Only one of those three can lose you a four-minute half. Confirm you are in the Prime OBT client, not the June demo. Play BFF once on official YouTube so you recognize the theme when a menu hits it. Listen for Wolf Park in match flow rather than hunting a pause-menu jukebox that may not exist. Then play a match.

When the UTC window closes on 8 September 2026 at 01:00, this page stays a record of the first in-game drop. If JOYCITY later sells a digital album, that announcement will land on the official site and Discord first.
