QRI in FreeStyle Football 2

QRI (also written Curie in some captions) is the post-CBT recruit built around Korea street dancer Kwon Gyuri. Official player-introduction footage sells rhythm and flexibility: dance-like touches, a dribbling identity nicknamed in coverage as a “curry walk,” and a finishing flourish rather than a target-man frame. This page is the roster note for Agents who saw the recruit trailer and want to know where she sits next to the CBT 7 and Lena. It is not a completed move list.

The retail game is still upcoming. QRI arrived in publicity after Closed Beta Test 7. Prime OBT (4–8 September 2026) is a separate window that headlines Lena and Hamburg. Do not assume every OBT lobby will show QRI unlocked on day one. Check the in-game list. The Players Hub is the directory.

What is public

JOYCITY’s recruit trailer is the source, not a datamine. Public language:

• Identity: street dancer Kwon Gyuri, rhythm and flexibility on the ball.
• Hook: once the beat is in, the carry is the point — not a Butter-style screen, not a Mukamba buff.
• Finishing: coverage mentions a distinctive shooting flourish. That is a trailer beat. It is not a guarantee she plays FW in every build.

Until the lobby tag is on screen, do not print “confirmed FW” on a graphic. If the list places her with Queen Swift and Butter, she is in the forwards conversation. If she sits with Sanchez and Jelly, she is a midfielder problem. Either way she is not a duplicate character you can pick twice, and she is not Lena’s intercept kit.

How to draft her if she appears

Pick happens after the match is found, top of the list first. If you want QRI and someone above you takes her, you are looking at Queen Swift, Butter, or a midfielder who can actually pass. If you take QRI into a lobby that already locked two attackers, you are the reason the defender is screaming.

Play QRI if you:

• Like carrying in traffic on compact courts (New York, Busan) where extra touches die less often than on Route 66.
• Will still face the teammate before the auto-pass sends the ball offside.
• Can live with a kit that is more rhythm than target-man.

Skip QRI if you needed Mukamba’s team fight or Lena’s recovery sprint. Those jobs are documented on defenders and Lena. Skip her if you only watched the trailer for the celebrity name and cannot complete a four-minute half without panic. Getting Started and How to Play still come first.

Maps and the rest of the twelve

Launch still talks about twelve unique characters. CBT 7 named Sanchez, Jelly, Butter, Mukamba, Tarantula, Queen Swift, and Chris. QRI and Lena are the public extras. The remaining slots are not yours to invent. The Tier List is a closed-beta / demo snapshot and does not have a fair QRI sample. Do not force an S.

On a large pitch (Route 66, Hamburg in Prime OBT coverage) a rhythm dribbler who never releases the ball is a turnover machine. On compact New York the same carry is the point. Maps and Pitches is where that distance lives. How to Score is where you decide whether her flourish is a shot or a pass. How to Defend is what the other team will do to you if you hold an extra second.

Skills across the roster in tests: Clutch passive, Key Moves, two Freestyle ultimates, long cooldowns. Stats you can see: defense, speed, passing, strength, dribbling, shooting. Customization sliders are a launch promise.

Power creep, celebrity kits, and this wiki’s job

Veterans worry that a dancer kit with better numbers will make Sanchez or Queen Swift feel pointless. That is the original FreeStyle Football scar. This page stays descriptive until a patch note is public. If QRI’s flourish is a better shot than Butter’s delivery and a better carry than Sanchez, the Updates Hub is where that sentence belongs — after you have hours, not after you have a thumbnail.

A QRI checklist

Confirm she is in the list. Confirm her tag. Do not first-pick her into a four-attacker stack. Release the ball before offside. If the court is long, pass earlier than the trailer taught you. If she is missing from OBT, that is a build difference, not a wiki error. Play the CBT body you actually have.
